Becoming a Member
 
Lions club members are men and women who strive to make a difference in their local community as well as communities worldwide. Their volunteer efforts go beyond the support of vision care, to addressing unmet health and education needs worldwide. Membership in a Lions club may be attained by invitation only and the standards are reasonably high and limited to persons of good moral character and reputation.
 
Why Should I Become a Member?
  • Members allow Lions clubs worldwide to carry out its many community and humanitarian programs.
  • Gain an understanding and have an impact on local and international humanitarian issues.

We meet on the second and fourth Tuesdays each month at 7 PM at the CAC Center at Eastside Baptist Church located on Lower Roswell Road (Map). Membership in a Lions club is by invitation only. Santa Claus joined us on Saturday, December 3 at Powers Ferry UMC during the 2011 edition of our annual holiday pancake breakfast. Santa held every child on his lap and heard every request. Each child completed a neat craft project to frame their picture with Santa. The food was good, the crowd was large, and Santa was a smash hit. He plans to visit us again next year.
